Smooth front and side walls are easy to clean and reduce the fuel costs on account of the low air resistance.

Elevated lateral, double-walled side rails protect the walls of the superstructure from damage by the forklift or the load. Lashing bars can be optionally recessed into the scouring strip of the double-walled side rail.

A patented bulk material outflow is incorporated below the keyhole plate. This means that contamination cannot build up behind the keyhole cladding.

The Dry Box Duoplex Steel is the swap box body for temperature-controlled goods transport. Slightly insulated side walls made of Duoplex steel panels with a panel thickness of only 28 mm. The innovative Dry Box Duoplex Steel is based on insulated box body expertise. The result is a box body, specifically designed for dry cargo, which impresses with exemplary insulation, functionality and robustness, both inside and out.

Recessed double-deck guide rails and end-to-end or split lashing rails enable high levels of transport efficiency and offer the best possible load securing. The 300 mm high socket kick strip and the 27 mm thick perforated floor plates ensure stability and high load capacity.

The double-deck loading beams are easy to operate using the control bar. Markings on the guide rails make it easier to adjust the height.

State-of-the-art production technology makes it all possible: Double-deck guide rails with split and end-to-end lashing rails, flush-mounted in the side walls, can be combined.

The robust steel box with trapezoidal sheet side walls is particularly suitable where there is a large proportion of rail transport.

For fast loading cycles, we recommend fitting rail-compatible roller shutter doors, as they can be opened from the ramp.

Sturdy mounts under the frame allow the box body to be moved using a forklift truck.

The KRONE swap boxes are available in a stackable version. Corner protection at the top allows them to be top spread.

The aerodynamically-optimised version of the KRONE swap body has up to 7.9 percent less flow resistance in comparison to a normal swap body.

The transparent plastic roof offers better visibility for loading and unloading work.

Upon request, the base plates can be installed with the smooth side up. This option is particularly suitable for furniture transport.

The front wall is lined from the inside with screen printing plates over the entire height (optional). On request, a strapping rail can also be integrated into the front wall.

Volume swap bodies (7.82 m) are fitted with a front wall offset which is optimised for driving round corners. If the swap bodies are positioned particularly close to each other, stable sheets in the upper area help to prevent damage. As an option, an additional aluminium plate can be riveted to the centre of the front wall crossbeam.
