Universal chassis for up to 40' containers

The offset chassis carries containers up to 40' in length. The Box Liner SDC 27 eLTU4 makes it possible to transport containers in the sizes 1 x 40' with tunnel, 2 x 20', 1 x 20' flush with the rear, 1 x 20' in the middle (up to 30 tonnes) as well as 1 x 30' containers flush with the rear. An option is available for 40' containers without a tunnel.

The offset chassis carries containers up to 40' in length. The Box Liner SDC 27 eLTU4 makes it possible to transport containers in the sizes 1 x 40' with tunnel, 2 x 20', 1 x 20' in the middle (up to 30 tonnes) as well as 1 x 30' containers flush with the rear.

The two plug-in stops in the front support beam facilitate the correct placement of containers. The stops can be removed to allow access to the front 20‘ container.

The front locking mechanism can be conveniently converted for transporting containers with or without tunnel and 2 x 20' containers.

The folding lock mechanisms ensure easy and convenient conversion from 40' to 2 x 20‘.

The rear end can be extended pneumatically at the push of a button. Pictograms indicate the required locking position for the operator.

Accompanying documentation can optionally be transported in a protected manner in a document tube or in a document box (here mounted on the inside of the side collision protection).

Regardless of whether it is a traction rear or a standard rear, a back-up spotlight can always be installed in a protected manner.

The traction rear and traction+ combination on the SDC 27 eL20 ensures an excellent fifth-wheel load. The 25% drive axle load required in cross-border traffic can be achieved up to a container weight of approx. 28 tonnes (depending on the tractor unit) This combination also ensures that the load distribution of the SDC 27 eLTU70 is well-balanced.

If equipped with a spare wheel holder, the side collision protection can also be supplied in a fold-up version.

Lift axles automatically respond load-dependently. This allows you to reduce your tyre wear and save fuel.

A variety of warning signs can be fitted to the rear of the vehicle.

A genset (optionally from Genmark, Carrier or Thermoking) makes it possible to transport refrigerated containers at controlled temperatures. The genset also features its own fuel tank, which ensures that the cold chain is not interrupted even during road transport.
