KLVrent has relied on Krone trailers for over 25 years

90 new Krone trailers for the KLVrent rental fleet KLVrent, the largest brand- and group-independent rental company for heavy commercial vehicles in the German-speaking region, has now added another 90 Krone trailers to its fleet. In total, the medium-sized company, which was founded in 1972, currently has around 1,600 vehicles that are no more than three to four years old, around half of which are towed units but also special vehicles for transport and waste disposal. Since the takeover of KLV by Thomas Eberl in 2016, KLV has been investing heavily in the renewal of its rental fleet. Since then, KLV has relied on Krone and has already ordered over 300 vehicles. These 90 vehicles further increase the share of Krone vehicles in the overall fleet. Thomas Kirsch, Sales Manager Germany at KLVrent, says: "As a rental company, we want to have the best brands in our portfolio. We are convinced by the very high quality and the very good partnership between Krone and KLVrent. We are focusing on further growth and plan to further expand the Krone brand in our portfolio. In doing so, we also rely on the good experience with Krone Telematics." Johannes Bründl, regional sales manager at Krone, knows the special challenges in the rental business: "We are very grateful for this successful cooperation. Based on the proven Krone quality, we have been supplying KLVrent with reliable trailers that meet the high demands in rental since 1996." KLVrent has 13 locations in Germany and employs around 40 people. The headquarters of KLVrent GmbH & Co. KG has been located at the new Nußdorf site just outside Traunstein since October 2020.
