Krone at Transport Compleet in Gorinchem

From 3 to 5 September, the Transport Compleet trade fair in Gorinchem, South Holland, will once again be opening its doors from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.. At the fair, Krone will present a Profi Liner with comprehensive load securing equipment and a container chassis from the eLTU70 series. With the Profi Liner, Krone presents a genuine all-round vehicle that can be used flexibly for a wide variety of purposes. Accordingly, Krone will also be showing numerous load securing modules from the Multi Safe package such as Multi Lock, Multi Block or Multi Wall. Also practical is the 30 mm thick, waterproof glued and all-round sealed panel floor, which is designed for floor loads of up to 7000 kg stacker axle load. The Profi Liner has a raised floor assembly in the front area as standard. The plywood impact wall bolted to the front wall provides additional protection and stability. The three-part front wall is firmly bolted to the frame; stable, armoured corner stanchions ensure the best possible chassis connection. Like all Krone container chassis, the new, robust Box Liner eLTU70 is also specially designed for tough day-to-day business with frequently changing container sizes and impresses with exemplary versatility and a low empty weight of 4600 kg in the basic version, which in turn enables high payloads. In the container transport industry, forwarders are increasingly demanding telescopic chassis in the middle, as shortening the wheelbase for rear-flush 20' containers means an improvement in the fifth wheel load and thus the drive axle load. For a 20' container weighing 25 t, a fifth wheel load of approx. 700 kg can be gained here. Thanks to the new compact rear, the 20' container centre of gravity moves forward by approx. 200 millimetres. This results in a fifth wheel load of almost 6 t for the eLTU70 with a container weight of 25.4 t (20' rear flush) - approx. 1 t more than for the chassis without compact rear. With a container weight of 28.2 t (20' rear-flush), the maximum aggregate load of 27 t is achieved in combined transport. The vehicle thus achieves absolute peak values. Transport Compleet
