KRONE at the transport logistic 2023

At transport logistic 2023, trailer manufacturer Krone will focus on the sustainability concept "Mission Beyond Zero". With its new generation of trailer transport solutions, Krone is making a fundamental contribution to the future of the transport industry by intelligently combining the megatrends of digitalisation, automation, sustainability and electrification. How this mission can already become reality today with regard to the topic of sustainability is demonstrated by Krone with the eTrailer, which is exhibited at the trade fair stand 201/302 in hall A6.

With the eTrailer, which Krone has developed together with Trailer Dynamics, the diesel consumption and CO2 emissions of the tractor unit can be reduced by 40 percent on average. The core of the innovative technology is a powerful eAxle. It supports the tractor unit in its drive and also recovers braking energy through recuperation. The Krone eTrailer provides enough energy for long distances over 500 km and can be combined with any conventional tractor unit, so that the CO2 reduction can be implemented directly in the fleet. The digital technology of the intelligent control system and the automation of the processes in the eTrailer's driveline also make a significant contribution to these savings.

Krone will also be exhibiting two tried and tested trailers at the stand. On the one hand, the Profi Liner 5, equipped with Krone axles and Krone Telematics KSC ProPlus Dry, and on the other hand, for temperature-controlled transports, a Krone Cool Liner with double-deck equipment, Celsineo unit and Krone Telematics ProPlus Cool Dialog will be on display.
