KRONE will be exhibiting several vehicles at the IAA Transportation 2024 under the forward-looking motto ‘Dimensions in Motion’. At the innovative KRONE stand C40 in Hall 27, the focus will be on the four themes of sustainability, digitalization, automation and electrification. In this context, KRONE will be presenting an example of the completely redesigned Box Liner container chassis generation, which will be unveiled at the IAA Transportation 2024.
A Profi Liner SDP 27 eLB50-CS will be on site as a representative of the wide-ranging Profi Liner programme. The curtainsider from the fifth generation of the modular system, which has been successful for over 25 years, features load securing in accordance with EN 12642 Code XL and VDI 2700 and is therefore equipped for the most important challenges of everyday trailer use. With KRONE Telematics KSC ProPlus Dry and the innovative KRONE Smart Assistant, the Profi Liner is also digitally connected to the fleet management system.
KRONE will also be presenting a Dry Liner SDK 27 eLB41-STP on the stand N41. The plywood box semi-trailer is equipped for tough everyday use with steel ramming corners on the outside, an extended steel ramming profile at the rear across the rear frame and two additional rubber ramming buffers at the center rear. Inside, a galvanized 3 mm thick and 550 mm high steel plate on the front wall and a 320 mm high collision guard on the side protect against rough encounters with forklifts. LM guide rails mounted on both sides allow LM loading beams to be fitted for double-decker loading, so that a further 33 pallets can be loaded lengthways on the second level. The final element is a 2,370 mm wide roller shutter with DB acceptance. The Dry Liner is also ideally equipped for digital connection with KRONE Telematics and the KRONE Smart Assistant.
The third vehicle on the open-air stand N41 is a KRONE Box Carrier swap trailer with a KRONE Dry Box swap body, which is designed as a show box and is accessible via a staircase. The KRONE Box Carrier ZZW 18 eLE10 shoulders the robust WK 7.7 MR1STG Dry Box with smooth side walls made of galvanized sheet steel cassettes. A 2,650 mm long light window in the roof ensures sufficient daylight in the interior. The show box presents the different equipment variants.
On the other open-air stand P43, KRONE is presenting the Box Liner Aucos as an IAA premiere. This container chassis is equipped with an automatic coupling system and can therefore drive on the road with conventional tractor units with normal electrical and air connections, but can also automatically couple and uncouple with terminal tractor units at container terminals, for example.
Opposite is a Profi Liner as a show trailer, which KRONE is making available for the ‘Profi - Pro Driver Image’ initiative. Another KRONE trailer supports the logistics initiative ‘Blut transportiert e.V.’, which organizes registration campaigns together with DKMS, most recently during the European Football Championships at the east entrance to the Olympic Park in Munich.
